About

My name is Michael McClenaghan. I’ve been a web developer since the mid-90’s, when Lynx was a common browser and Mosaic was starting to change the world. I first started programming in Grade 4 on an old Apple. A diehard Commodore Vic-20, 64 and 128 owner, I succumbed to the PC when I started doing web development. I’ve recently come full circle by buying a Mac Powerbook Pro.

This site is my attempt to highlight some of the things that I’m interested in when it comes to web development. For the past 10 years, I’ve worked mainly with Microsoft technologies (ASP and ASP.Net) but I’ve forsaken most of that now to play with Ruby on Rails.

I’m also interested in Agile development. I became a Certified Scrum Master in 2005 and have spent a lot of time since then improving my understanding of Agile while trying to implement some Agile processes in an enterprise environment.
